Ready-to-Use Alcohol-based Disinfectant for FOOD INDUSTRY use

XL-SAN is an important weapon in the serious battle against pathogenic bacteria. Developed to meet the requirements of the food industry for a completely effective, yet quick-acting and non-tainting, ready-to-use disinfectant.

 XL-SAN is an alcohol-based disinfectant for professional use. It combines a high level of alcohol to give proven bactericidal effectiveness, and contains products that are approved for use by the new biocide regulations. XL-SAN is safe to use on food contact surfaces, especially when it is unacceptable to use large volumes of water-based products.

Evaporates quickly and leaves virtually no residue. Ideal for use in high risk areas to clean and disinfect conveyors, filling machines, etc.

MICROBIOLOGICAL DATA: XL-SAN is effective against most vegetative forms of micro-organisms, including yeasts, Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. Complies with EU Approval EN1276 for food use and has been independently tested.

Use XL-SAN undiluted, especially where large volumes of water cannot be tolerated. Apply by spray or with clean cloth or tissue onto surfaces to be disinfected and leave to dry. No need to rinse unless to do so is a legal requirement. Even diluted with up to 5 parts water for less critical applications, XL-SAN still complies with EU Approval EN1276 for food use.

A powerful and effective, modern version of the traditional black disinfectant, no longer based on coal tar products but on a proven synthetic chlorinated phenolic compound. Phenol co-efficient of 6/8. For the control of pathogenic microbes in all areas of concern. Suitable for all surfaces, except those likely to come into direct contact with food. Leaves a long-lasting aroma. May be diluted with up to 150 parts water for effective disinfection.
Do not use in conjunction with other disinfectants.
Do not use in food preparation areas.
